The name “Teji” comes from the family’s grandfather, reflecting the company’s roots and long-standing business identity.
The family’s business roots began in Merkato, Ethiopia’s largest open-air marketplace. Through years of trading experience, supplier relationships, and customer understanding, the family developed the foundation that later became TEJI International P.L.C.
